Backhoe hire in Notre Dame and around the north.
What we do
We have one backhoe loader and we run it ourselves, from Notre Dame. Most of our work is on house plots, small building sites and planters' land in the north of the island.
The usual jobs:
- Trenches for water pipes, drains, cables and irrigation lines
- Digging foundations, septic tank pits and soakaways
- Clearing a plot of bush, stumps, rubble and old walls
- Levelling and rough grading before a build starts
- Loading soil, rocksand and rubble onto lorries
- Backfilling and compacting when the work is done
If it needs a backhoe and it's in the north, send us a message with a photo of the site. If it's not a job for us, we'll say so and point you to someone.
Rates and how it works
We charge by the day or by the job, operator and fuel included. Transport depends on how far the site is from Notre Dame. Anywhere in Pamplemousses or Rivière du Rempart district counts as close.
Send us the location and what you need done, on WhatsApp or with the form at the bottom. For anything bigger than a short trench we come and look at the site first, then give you a price before any work starts.
We work Monday to Saturday, 7 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
Where we work
Notre Dame, Calebasses, Long Mountain, Terre Rouge, Crève Cœur, Pamplemousses, Triolet, Arsenal, Baie du Tombeau, Port Louis, Grand Baie, Goodlands and the villages in between. Further away is usually fine too, just ask about transport.
